The National Football League Foundation (NFL Foundation) respects the privacy of users who visit this Site. The following policies are in effect for all of the Web pages operated by the NFL Foundation on our Web site www.nflfoundation.org. Keeping Your Information Secure

Keeping your personal information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. We will safeguard, according to established standards of security and confidentiality, any information our users share with us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.  No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

When Information is Collected and Not Collected

In some circumstances such as when you register or contact us, the NFL Foundation may request personal information from you, like your name, e-mail address, company name or telephone number. Your response to these inquiries is strictly voluntary. This information is stored and used by the NFL Foundation or internal and market research purposes only. We may also ask you to elect a user name and password or identification number to gain access to certain portions of our Site. We may also ask you to provide demographic information such as your ZIP code, your age range, or your product preferences. When a visitor requests pages on the NFL Foundation  site, our servers automatically recognize the browser's domain name and IP address. Our servers also record e-mail addresses that you submit for registration. We may also collect statistical information about how visitors are generally searching or using the Site and reserve the right to compile and publish profile information about our visitors without the visitor's name and addresses for reasonable business purposes.

Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies

We may use "cookies" (small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive) to track sessions and to personalize your experience on our Site. Such uses allow us to improve our site and better tailor it to meet our users' needs. In general, you can visit the NFL Foundation' site without divulging any personal information. However, there are areas of the NFL Foundation site that requires this information to complete customization functions. These site areas may not be available to those choosing not to reveal the information requested.

The use of cookies by third parties is not covered by our privacy policy.  We do not have access or control over these cookies.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We employ or our third party tracking utility partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective.  Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users.  In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information.

How the NFL Foundation Uses Your Information

The NFL Foundation uses personally identifiable information to customize your experience on the NFL Foundation site, to analyze site usage, and to improve our content and product offerings. Specifically, the NFL Foundation may use your personal information to alert you to products and services that can assist you in your business, to promote site registration, and to assist in order processing.. By posting e-mails or voice mails through the NFL Foundation you understand that the information is not secure.

Communications from the Site

We will occasionally send you information on products , services or newsletters.  If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications you may do so by following the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each communication.

Access to Personal Information

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, update or remove it by making the change within your account once logged into the site or by emailing us at admin@nflfoundation.org.  We will respond to your access request within 30 days.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.   If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at the email address listed above.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Social Media (Features) and Widgets

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
